Our Mission

The mission of the Providence Maritime Heritage Foundation is to provide dynamic educational, experiential learning and personal growth opportunities of a maritime theme to children and people of all ages, to share Rhode Island's rich maritime heritage and history, and to preserve America's searafing traditions with a special focus on the unique story of the Sloop Providence Rhode Island's sailing ambassador.
